A bit about me

Dr. Henry Moss, DO, FASAM, is a dual board-certified physician in Emergency and Addiction Medicine. As a senior staff physician at Henry Ford Hospital, a level-1 trauma center in Detroit, he brings extensive experience in high-stakes emergency care, and actively contributes to resident and medical student education.
With specialized training from Stanford in Addiction Medicine, Dr. Moss is uniquely qualified to analyze the intersection of substance use disorders and acute medical care. He has a strong academic and teaching background and has led various education initiatives on toxidromes, withdrawal syndromes, and ECG interpretation. His scholarly contributions include research on virtual simulation training for emergency physicians in collaboration with Yale University, as well as studies on patient admission predictors, presented at national conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals.
As a leader in emergency medicine education, Dr. Moss serves on committees for resident competency assessment and in-service exam preparation. He is an active member of the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) and the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM), where he has earned fellowship status.
